The owner brought her to be euthanized, however, her lavender coat hides a troubling story.

Dr. Carey, an experienced veterinarian at the Vet Ranch animal clinic, was frightened to the core when she saw Violet, a young puppy with multiple wounds and purple fur. Violet’s owner said that when she put her on the ground, she was mauled by a larger dog.

Before being used to train fighting dogs, many bait dogs were reported to be colored purple. Violet’s owner, on the other hand, said the purple fur was caused by a purple wound spray that was sprayed on her shortly after she was struck. However, due to medical incompetence, Violet’s wounds festered for weeks, driving her to death.

In this amazing video, Dr. Carey walks us through the extensive medical treatment she performs on Violet. Violet endures an arduous treatment process as the vet uses strong painkillers and antibiotics to treat her numerous infections and abscesses. Violet has finally recovered from the sepsis phase after 12 days of careful monitoring!

Violet’s initially unhappy and defeated attitude makes the dog’s ultimately happy journey all the more satisfying. She can barely contain her appreciative smiles when she’s in Dr. Carey’s arms!

Violet was adopted immediately upon her full recovery. Her new mother, Kelly, and her Jack Russell sister, Peanut, who is the same size as her, share her home. Thank you for making Violet’s life easier, Dr. Curry!

Dr. Curry is Violet’s amazing miracle worker, as evidenced in the video below!
